If there is any truth to this, it's ******. With all the bull**** happening, testing should be common practice and non-negotiable for pro fights. No reason not to take the test if you aren't using PEDs. Regardless if it is a 'no name' fighter or Mayweather who requests it.

Shaffer said publicly that he thought VADA acted unprofessionally over the way it handled the Peterson vs Khan positive test result. Then he saw the Berto fight fall apart because of good VADA testing which again cost him money. He also doesn't like VADAS pet, Gabriel Montoya, so he probably wants to get away from the bad experiences and costs they have had with VADA and pay more for a more professional body like USADA.

Then there are the skeptics that think GBP have some shady deal with USADA that USADA would risk their image over. GBP are a small fry USADA customer and I'm sure their reputation and credibility are worth more then a few cheap dollars.
