I was surprised by the Bailey-Alexander announcement. I figured GBP would match Alexander with Paulie, which was sure to be a repeat of Khan-Malignaggi (Alexander outlanding and overpowering Paulie). Bailey is old and ****ty, but he could very well uppercut Alexander into cloud nine just as he did Jones.
So yeah, Bring on Malignaggi-Bradley. Why not? If Pac fights Marquez in November, there is plenty of time for them to get it on before next May/June.
Paulie may not have much power, but if it does come together, Bradley is not stopping him or outboxing him. Say what you want about his lack of power, he is a pure-boxer with a SOLID chin and would favor him in 12 over Bradley. I think he would jab jab jab outside all day. Plus, he looks rejuvinated at 147. Bradley would definitely pressure him for 12, but the Magic Man is a veteran who knows his way around the ring.
