Robert Diaz, matchmaker for Golden Boy Promotions, advised BoxingScene.com that he's trying to make a junior welterweight fight between Johan Perez (15-0-1, 12KOs) and Pablo Cesar Cano (24-1-1, 19KOs) for July 21st in Mexico. Perez, who recently signed a promotional agreement with Golden Boy, would risk his WBA interim-title. Televisa will carry the show in Mexico and Fox Deportes will televise in the United States.
