Why didnt HBO or Showtime pick up Haye vs Chisora

I would love to watch this fight. Is it gonna be on TV, I wish HBO or showtime would have picked it up i think it would get huge ratings

Well, HBO has another fight that same day, Kahn vs García if im not mistaken.

As for showtime, who knows, I just don't think this fight is causing much hype this side of the puddle (I like it, and hardcore fans probably do too). Unknown foreign heavyweights just don't seem to be appealing to casual fans.

Come to think about it, with the fight being in the UK it would air late in the afternoon over here, there would be no conflict with the Kahn fight.

They did this for Wladimir vs Haye I think, I believe they showed another fight later that night. I could be wrong though....

It was Adamek-Vitali where they showed a fight later on in the day. I think it was a Gamboa fight.
