Povetkin a "heavyweight champion" lol, the guy ran away from Wladimir Klitschko twice and the WBA is a joke having a second class "world champion" Povetkin under the real world champion Klitschko...........this is the way to kill our sport

Instead they will still have their enthusiasm and it will be a better atmos for the big fight.
Its like having Pac vs Mayweather then adding Skelton vs Sprott as chief support. We can do without the hour of pain to get through before the big 1.
Sure, you make a great point. Haye vs Chisora is a unique event. I would like to see Mike Perez get a big named fight though. He seems to be in the wilderness with his team. His last bout was on Dec 30th last and that's just bad management. The guy is 18-0-12 with a prizefighter title under his belt. Tyson Fury refused to fight him an there was talks of a Kevin Johnson bout but Johnson went the prizefighter route and lost. He was due to announce a 'major' fight last month and that didn't happen. I suspect it was Johnson. He really needs to get back in the ring.

It's not necessarily boring, but a crap fight. Rahman is about 200 years old and Povetkin arguably got beaten by an inept cruiserweight and calls himself the heavyweigh champion. Surprised it got pulled out of Chisora-Haye though, that might be due to the German boxing union's or Sauerland's influence.
