Somewhat. He says that it's less likely that Tarver took a contaminated supplement, than in the case with Berto. And that it's more possible that he took it unknowingly. He still leaves room at the end for it being due to contamination also.

McGirt mentioned it could be a situation where the strength and conditioning trainer could have gave him it too with Tarver not knowing.

What Conte actually did is give a brief tutorial for a guy to actually juice w/ a better chance of avoiding detection...He got specific & gave names & dosages that would actually be wiser to use. Kinda like some of these police shows that break crimes down in detail actually giving would-be criminals intel on how to improve upon another's mistakes or poor judgement.

However the way he said if it was the 3 week one, likely he cheated, and not the one that is 3 months. Tarver rarely boxes so both don't matter to him.

If he took Masteron, which I doubt he did, it would be ******. Masteron is not used to increase strength, as it doesn't do much of this. It's one of the last drugs used in a bodybuilder cycle, to make the muscle hard and dense and usually used only for contests. It's much more of a cosmetic steroid, than anything else.

It seems like Tarver most likely is the victim of supplement contamination OR he was using 2a,17a dimethyl etiocholan 3-one which is best known by the name "superdrol". It's a methylated version of Masteron, to make it orally active, and is sold a nutritional supplement. This version is VERY powerful as well as pretty toxic. It's used to increase size and strength. Now the question is, did he take it on purpose or was it contamination. (contamination could very well be the reason to don't rule it out).

The problem is who's to say that he wasn't taking something else that he was able to mask and go undetected for. Maybe that drug was just one part of a series of drugs. And maybe without this or that drug, Tarver would have looked and performed much worse! He could have been on other drugs too, but went undetected. And therein lies part of the big problem. And then the door gets wide open as to how long this has been going on with him.
