Ortiz is soft and done. Rios is a joke, and not all the hype he shares about himself. Floyd won't take a risk; was hoping Cotto had nothing left, and almost guessed wrong like he did with Mosley. Marquez won't fight Morales, and hasn't for more than 10 years. Khan wouldn't fight Maidana. Mayweather wouldn't fight Maidana after Marcos destroyed Ortiz in 8 rounds; Floyd took Ortiz anyway, rather than tangle with Maidana. No Ballz.

Maidana is annoying lately. This guy hasn't had a good win, aside from Morales which was far tougher than it should have been, since Victor Cayo in 2010 or Victor Ortiz in 2009. Would love to see Maidana fight Matthysse though, but I doubt that happens.

Um Cotto was the WBA SWW champ and #1 SWW in the world. Was the best fight available at the time aside from Floyd-Manny. Oh and so was Mosley, he was the WBA WW champ/#2 WW/#3 P4P coming off beating Margarito, and this was at a time Pac said he wouldn't fight Mosley at anything but a CW of 142 lbs for christ sake. Everyone was calling for Floyd-Mosley.

When Maidana beat Ortiz, not a single person was calling or him to fight Floyd Mayweather, no one. That's just ignorant.

And when Floyd fought Ortiz, he was coming off beating Berto (who people wanted Manny to fight at the time), and was the WBC WW champ/#2 WW.

Yes, really. I believe Maidana is a dirty fighter to his core whereas Ortiz tends to lose his focus and make dumb ass decisions in the heat of the battle which I don't condone by any means.
