This^^^, but he's got a while before that jaw heals. The rematch promotes itself.

Nah cuz one would be complaining about getting punched in the nuts while the other was trying to quit.

You cant' have both fighters freaking out at the same time which is what would probably happen.

Yeah, but that can easily take another 2 years.

I'm not gonna stop watching Ortiz cuz of what happened. I've thoroughly enjoyed some of the performances he's put on and will continue to watch any fight he's in. However, his stock plummets as a consequence of this and i don't really see him ever getting back to where he was. Regardless of the injury he suffered (which i agree was reason enough to stop the fight), he's shown on numerous occasions now that he doesn't have the mental fortitude to compete at an elite level.

As exciting a fight as yesterday was, u still have to re-evaluate how Ortiz would fare now against a healthy Andre Berto or a Canelo.

Boxing isn't a tough man's sport, it's a smart man's sport. And right now, I'm not sure Ortiz is either.

He is done, he should walk away, he doesn't have enough heart to fight top level guys, could you imagine Floyd, Manny, JMM or Ward, quiting in a big fight they are winning, you have to suck it up to beat the best. Even some of the B level guys, Maidana or Gatti would never quit, they would try to find a way to win.
