Yeah thank God, Martinez is one of my favorite fighters, I don't want anything happening to him. I think Lara is doing some Santeria ***** to all of these guys to clear the path for him to get a shot. If I were a boxer right now, if Canelo comes calling, I would just hang up the phone no matter how much he is offering.

it seems alot of ppl thinks highly of martinez am i the only 1 who feels that the way he fights with his guard down and head stuck out that he's asking for a ko, he does have angles, speed and punching power but im not impressed

It also seems a lot of people don't seem to watch Sergio enough. He does NOT fight with his hands down, this is such a huge misconception. He blocks punches and keeps his hands up plenty. His hands usually go down mid to late in the fight when he's gotten comfortable, or early if he's already found his rhythm.

Almost eveyrtime he's dropped his hands and shrugged his shoulders, the KO came within 1-2 series's after. Its amazing people haven't seriously noticed this by now.

In the Macklin fight, he didnt drop his hands until the round the KO came. He couldn't find his stride until late and so his hands didn't go at his sides. I think just as many people underrate, or dont see the bigger picture. They see the hands down and don't realize there are actually up more than they are down, unless he's dominating.
