If his jaw is broken(which most likely it is) & he says he couldn't cause it hurt, then no one could blame him for not wanting to continue..Only a few fighters like Abraham, Tarver & Ali & a few others have been able to continue & finish a fight with a broken jaw..But the 1st time Ortiz quit(against Maidana) there was no excuse except that Maidana took his heart & pocket it..That time Ortiz B I T C H E D out & then had the nerve to talk S H I T about Maidana after he beat Berto & had a rock star attitude after that fight..That's why I'm glad Mayweather decked him & Josesito broke, fracture or did whatever to his jaw(I havent heard or read any news confirming the jaw is broken) that made him quit & messed up his future plans for a big money fight..

With all the uppercuts he was eating he wouldn't have lasted 2 minutes with a broken jaw if he continued.

In the first fight, we saw a trainer who clearly cared enough about his fighter to stop the fight at the right time. In the second fight, we saw a trainer who apparently didn't care about his fighter and wanted him to fight with a broken jaw. Ortiz was right to take matters into his own hands and stop the fight at the right time.

Paulie had a swelling the size of his face but Victor seemed to have hardly any swelling on his face. Victor is just a weird person, I think he needs to come out of the closet already.

Lopez showed who was the mas chingon!!! and at the end Ortiz was no gran Chingon.. Ortiz is done. Lopez was the badass Mexican tonight, he fought his heart out and won, now that's a warrior. that vato is from riverside California.

Victor Ortiz's intentional illegal punch to the back of Lopez's head, along with his out and out intentional head butt in the Mayweather fight, show me he has too much anger within him to be a disciplined Professional Boxer. Dirty fighters are dangerous.

if you noticed a couple rounds early, i think at the end of the 7th, he whispered something in his trainers ear and the trainer told him you got to keep going. it seemed like he wanted to quit even before he got his jaw broke.
