Roman "Rocky" Martinez (26-1-1, 16 KOs), the former 130-pound champion of the World Boxing Organization, makes it very clear that he will not overlook his scheduled opponent on August 4th. Nice to see Martinez back and against a credible opponent. While he won't likely join the long line of of Puerto Rico's Greats he's a tough entertaining boxer-puncher who always comes to fight and should be champion again someday. Sort of in the category of an Alfredo 'Salsero' Escalera, Victor 'Luvi" Callejas or Antonio 'Tonito' Rivera - which ain't shabby company.

It will take him a while to get that title shot once he loses to beltran. Who is a hidden talent. The one who will impress that night will be beltran
