Rosinsky is a paramedic for the FDNY, not a firefighter.....an honorable job for our great city.......he comes to fight, and like you said, he is off the streets of NY, and he's held his own in one of the bigger fight cities in the US.......we will see what happens fight night, but I wouldn't look past Rosinsky if I were the ghost....

I've always respected his chin & power though. Once he got dethroned and started fighting his demons I started to pull for the guy. I'm usually a fan of the underdog and he is definitely that! Seeing him relocate, sober up, and switch to the Garcia camp shows how serious and hungry he is to get his career back on track. Pavlik is now focused and on the right path to being in the mix w/ the top guys in the division. He can beat a lot of the top contenders at 168 and I see him with a belt within a year. Remember the guy is only 30. WAR GHOST!
For real. There's so much hate for a guy who's getting his life back on track but on the other side u c an outpouring of love for Johnny Tapia. Kelly's not the first athlete to succumb to the trappings of fame and won't be the last. Sure, pulling out of the Cunningham fight last year was a real bad move but he was at a low point. Give the guy some credit for showing the commitment and sacrifice to get back to the top. These Last 2 flights have been strictly to show that he's serious and can show up on fight night ready and in shape..

Cool Interview for people who haven't seen Rosinsky. Will's going to stop Kelly. A lot of people will be shocked. Kelly fans should not get their hopes up too high about this comeback. When you go 8 rounds with Scott Sigmon, that's a problem. Will knocks Scott Sigmon out in 2 rounds.

Sigmon has never been stopped. What makes you think Rosinksky can do what Pavlik did to him. That fight was never close. Sigmon was just really tough.

Good point. Well, Sigmon never fought anybody who was capable of stopping him before Kelly. Look at his opposition on Boxrec, what their records were and who and where they had fought, etc. Add to that the fact that, both, Sigmon and Kelly looked terrible on TV. Sigmon is a punching bag, but he smothered Kelly and took away his right hand for the first 5 rounds, so Kelly was confused and ineffective in comparison to what an A-lister would have done.

I have seen Will fight a lot and the kids a Beast. He's a better boxer than Kelly and knows how to actually fight on the inside, unlike Kelly who is a 1-2 guy who needs space and for guys to go straight back (i.e. Miranda, Taylor, etc). If Cujo had smothered Will (which is really all that he did to Pavlik, because all that he did with his punches was arm punch and slap him to death), Will would have been able to dominate him and get him out of there, quite easily.

Top Rank was screaming for the fight to be stopped, not Sigmon or his corner by the way. Not that Cujo had a chance or even won one round, but as you said, he is tough and Kelly was frustrated and was looking terrible on national television. We know Kelly as been mentally weak starting with the Hopkins fight from round one (check out his exchanges with trainer Jack Loew in between rounds, starting with round one), and a stoppage does more to boost his profile than a boring 10 round decision against a bum.

Has there ever been a fight were you pulled for Pavlik to win?
