At the crossroads of Gatekeeper Avenue and Contender Boulevard lies Last Chance saloon, lets see who's inside today!
1. Kelly Pavlik.
He may only be 30, but Pavlik has proven that he cannot handle being beaten, and has wasted the last 3 years of his career, he's in the saloon because one more defeat and he will probably go over the edge, but a couple of good wins and suddenly he's back in things.
2. Cris Arreola
It doesn't seem that long ago since Arreola was a young, exciting contender, but that was actually 4 years ago now. A one sided massacre to Vitali Klitschko, followed by an embarrassing decision loss to Adamek have lead to Arreola fighting stiffs as he tries to get another, undeserved title shot. in all likelihood he will get a Wlad fight, be brutalised and then its off down gatekeeper avenue for him
3. Lucian Bute
Bute was considered by many to be a P4P status fighter, before being taken apart by Froch, it was a bad loss, terribly 1 sided and brutally academic. Bute is trying to dust himself off, but with his aura shattered alongside his chin, he could go downhill fast.
4. Tim Bradley
He finds himself in an odd position, sitting in his wheelchair, Bradley wonders how he got into last chance saloon, after all he is an undefeated champ, who just beat Manny Pacquiao, right? WRONG. Bradley lost, the whole world saw it, and now everyone hates him. He can't draw flies and will in all likelihood be going into a rematch with a motivated Pacquiao. A conclusive loss surely awaits, and after that, Bradley will find himself ejected out of the back door onto no mans land.
