  • Comments Thread For: Bradley: Pacquiao is Declining, I'll Beat Him Easier!

WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley is very much in favor of a staging an immediate rematch against Manny Pacquiao. Bradley won a controversial twelve round split decision over the Filipino superstar on June 9th in Las Vegas. He feels Pacquiao is declining and no longer the same pound-for-pound boxer who battered opponents like Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton and Miguel Cotto. Bradley told hometown paper, The Desert Sun, that he'll beat Pacquiao even "easier" in the rematch. Pacquiao is scheduled to return on November 10th and Bradley is one of the possible options for the date.

So he's basically saying a prime Pacquiao would have whooped him even harder than he did earlier this month? LOLLLL

I hope he don't go into the rematch with that attitude. I guarantee you will see a hungrier, angrier more determined and agressive Pacquiao in November than he did in June.

He needs to be way more prepared in the rematch than he was in the first fight.

Rematch isn't happening yet, Floyd and Khan are with GBP.

Bradley should target a Berto fight, he's stll a Top 10 WW, for late 2012. Or maybe even a quick fight against Bailey for a unification.

Than, I guarantee he'll fight the Pac-JMM winner.

nah, I think he's just an honest guy. he tells it like he sees it, that's one thing i respect about him. I genuinely believe him when he says 'i watched the fight again and i think i won.' I think every other fighter in Bradley's shoes would have tried to pad the win even more than they should to make themselves look like the greatest, Bradley's a different character, it's actually refreshing.

It is crazy to think what Pac does. Most of the best boxers train throughout lightly, and then do a big camp. Manny only does 8-10 weeks training and after that he is in politics and does TV shows as well as his businesses.

He has had over 50 fights so wear and tear is there, but he has 2 fights left IMO. Pac did seem to gas considering the workrate wasn't too much, which he never did in 2009.

Bradley has always been a fighter whose main strength is his ability to adjust to his opponent's style. I do think Bradley will do better against Pac in a rematch. He was kind of fighting like Floyd the last 3 rounds and experienced success boxing him like that, 12 rounds like that would be deserving of a win for Bradley.

If there is a rematch then Bradley should call ahead to reserve a room in the closest ICU! Manny is not going to let it go the the payed off judges again!
