probably is, not that it means much.

Yeah not much but this dude won a world title in his 7th fight and now has won a unified title in his 10th bout. I eon't be surprised if this guy wins a belt in 108 in his next fight. That is if he ignores fighting cuello which I don't mind at all.

I havent watched the fight yet but were the scorecards accurate having Ioka winning?

I thought they were fair. I had it a draw, but would say Ioka deserved it slightly more if I had to pick a winner. Both fought their heart out and Yaegashi deserves all of the credit in the world for going that hard while fighting w/ his left eye swollen shut for ten rounds.

What a fight!! Exciting-Skillful-Suspense and good action

I had it a draw but Ioka 7-5 by no means is a unjust score he controled most of the rounds with Yaegashi landing the showier punches Ioka is a bit too technical to be in a all-out battle and Yaegashi could of been a bit busier but still a Great fight

these unification's are really giving purpose to title fights now. Like you see in the middleweight division all the champions are having unification's. It goes to show the best do fight the best all you need is to get rid of top rank and your set in America.
