Dawson can make this fight very difficult for Ward if he snipes from outside. He's got the handspeed and the combinations to do it.

A Non-Title CW fight would have been fine by me as well, at something like 171-172.

Ward should have taken notes from Floyd on this one. Fight the guy at the weight he's a champion at and you tend to get more credit.

Even if they fight at 171 and ward wins, he's be the lineal and Ring champ at LHW

I don't see how he can avoid getting into an inside fight with Ward.

I've only seen one fight where Ward didn't beat his opponent up on the inside and it was against Abraham where the referee wouldn't allow any inside fighting and I can't see that happening again.

Thanks. Yeah I was always thinking he was a fairly big LHW.Of course he is saying that losing the weight wont be a problem. He HAS to say that. But from the outside looking in it looks like it'll be a factor.

Add to that that the fight is in jOakland and you just know Dawson is facing an uphill battle.

I didn't know Floyd fought JMM at SFW.
