Which boxers have made $1M+ in the last 12mos (June 20, 2011-June 19, 2012)? Only from boxing, no endorsements.
Ideally throw a link with some evidence of when they made a million or more from one fight or links to evidence that fights they were in added up to over a million (in USD). If you think my numbers are off anywhere link me to a more accurate number from a better source & I'll alter it if I agree with your source. I'm sure I forgot about a few obvious guys & surely some un-obvious guys.
My Boxers Only Wannabe Forbes List so far
(by no means is this list complete, either in boxers or figures, & were just the best or first names that came to mind that I could confirm)
1 - Floyd Mayweather, $85,000,000 ($40M for Victor in Sept '11, $45M for Miguel in May '12)
2 - Manny Pacquiao, $56,000,000 ($30M for Juan Manuel in Nov '11, $26M+ for Tim in June '12)
3 - Wladimir Klitschko $24,000,000 ($19M(?) for David Haye in July '11, $5M(?) for Jean-Marc Mormeck in Mar '12)
4 - Miguel Cotto $19,000,000 ($6M(?) for Antonio in Dec '11, $13M(?) for Floyd in May '12)
4 - David Haye $19,000,000 ($19M for Wladimir in July '11 - not sure about this figure as Forbes didn't have him on their list & he should've been if this is accurate)
6 - Tim Bradley, $6,000,000 ($1M for Joel Casamayor in Nov '11, $5M for Manny in June '12)
7 - Juan Manuel Marquez, $5,000,000 ($5M+ for Manny in Nov '11)
8 - Antonio Margarito, $2,500,000 ($2.5M+ for Miguel in Dec '11)
9 - Amir Khan, $2,100,000 ($1M for Zab in July '11, $1.1M+ for Lamont in Dec '11)
10 - Victor Ortiz, $2,000,000 ($2M for Floyd in Sept '11)
11 - Erik Morales $1,300,000, ($350k for Pablo Cesar Cano in Sept '11, $950k for Danny Garcia in Mar '12)
12 - Saul Alvarez, $1,200,000, ($1.2M for Shane in May '12)
13 - Antonio Tarver, $1,100,000 ($1.1M for Lateef Kayode in June '12)
14 - Bernard Hopkins, $1,000,000 ($1M for Chad Dawson in Oct '11)
Boxers I'm sure are on this list, but have not found any purse data for: Vitali Klitschko - gots to be making 7 digits per fight, Sergio Martinez - I believe I've heard several times he's getting about a million per fight, but couldn't find any source to confirm that
Boxers who just miss making the list: Andre Ward - made $900k vs Carl Froch & if another one of his fights would have taken place within the timeline needed he would have surely made this list, Chad Dawson - he might be on the list depending on what he got for Bernard II, he made $800k for Bernard I & I'm not sure how much he made for II, but it doesn't sound good & this seems like it could be why Bernard did no promotion
