        Side note:

Mayweather-Cotto numbers came in the Friday after their fight. But two weeks later, Arum is "still counting"?

I guess it's harder to count to 900K than it is to count to 1.5 million.

How much do you guys want to bet that the official numbers don't get released? Who wants to take that bet?

Arum will float these fake numbers out there, and never address it again. Just like he did with Pac-Mosley. Remember how Showtime supposedly needed "months" to count because they didn't have those magic counting machines?

900K PPV buys that's POOR, it should've done over 1M PPV buys to be recognized. Arum is spinning it to keep Pacquiao in the Mayweather sweepstakes. Pacman is going to have to take 37.5% to Mayweather's 62.5%.

Damn people around here are sad. One fanbase pretends 1.5 for Mayweather-Cotto is bad, and the other pretends at least 900k for Pac vs. Tim freaking Bradley proves Pac isn't a draw.

            Get over yourselves.

How does Pac-Bradley closed circuit sales "compare favorably" with Mayweather-Cotto closed circuit sales?

See, Arum thinks you guys are ****** and don't know - or don't remember - anything:

              Mayweather-Cotto closed circuit: $717K
              Pacquiao-Bradley closed circuit: $249K

              Mayweather-Cotto closed circuit:9,566 tickets sold
              Pacquiao-Bradley closed circuit:4,980 tickets sold

I am not sure but I know he made 84MIL this year and Pac only made 56MIL.

Gino Ros, at some point it really doesn't matter what the pacfan, d4th, hugh grant, cgarcia, pacboy, whirlwind, puga, etc etc. feel or think about manny's success. Let them put whatever spin they want on it.

In politics, the rule is don't attack downward. I think maybe all floyd fans, especially those of us that really are boxing fans, we need to just stop attacking downward. They can't see the truth but we need to stop expecting them to. When you are behind, the view never changes.

Even if Arum is exaggerating the 900k, which I don't doubt for a second, 700-800k is still VERY good, especially considering the fact that, like others have said, it was essentially only Pacquiao. I don't think people quite understand how impressive it is to sell that many PPVs because they've been spoiled into thinking selling over a million PPVs is normal when looking at those two.

That being said, it doesn't change the fact that Mayweather still consistently sells more. If you don't want to go based on the last fight, then just go by common opponents. More often than not Mayweather has outsold Pacquiao when going against common opponents. Mayweather-Ortiz also did better numbers, with Ortiz being the same level of attraction as Bradley is.
yes, but Pacquiao vs Marquez did better than Floyd vs Marquez.
