    b. If the numbers were 900k, that is not too bad.
    c. (to the above poster) If it were Floyd vs Bradley the numbers would be atleast 300-400k more...
300-400k?!!! Are you freaking kidding me, maybe 800k or more.... Floyd is a bigger draw than you think!

Floyd has gotten those beer rebates too in the past .... and the ones for Manny couldn't be applied everywhere in the world nor in all states (USA) either as was stated in one of the threads here a few weeks ago.

900k is not too bad with only pacquiao doing all the PPV pull...

for the ****** that says floyd - cotto craps on pacquiao - bradley, well, it should be... 4 boxing stars against 1... can you imagine 4 boxing stars being out-sold by a single asian midget? that's gonna be hilarious...

We've done this time and time again, and for some, it seems to never matter or there is an excuse as to why Mayweather has done better with common opponents.

i love how arum has his list of excuses hidden under "considering" ..lol...

                  "considering bradley isnt well-known"
"considering we were going against the heat-celtics"...

all this fix fight did was embarrass the sport

Okay I'll wait on the HBO confirmation. Until then, I'll guess it did 100-150K less.

Pac/Bradley is on par with Floyd/Ortiz. Too bad the Floyd/Ortiz #'s were never officially released. Lets see if HBO releases the Pac/Bradley #'s.
First off - a little off topic, but I'm not going be like most people and bash Pacquiao for not doing over a million PPV buys. Even if Arum is exaggerating the 900k, which I don't doubt for a second, 700-800k is still VERY good, especially considering the fact that, like others have said, it was essentially only Pacquiao. I don't think people quite understand how impressive it is to sell that many PPVs because they've been spoiled into thinking selling over a million PPVs is normal when looking at those two.

That being said, it doesn't change the fact that Mayweather still consistently sells more. If you don't want to go based on the last fight, then just go by common opponents. More often than not Mayweather has outsold Pacquiao when going against common opponents. Mayweather-Ortiz also did better numbers, with Ortiz being the same level of attraction as Bradley is.
