"i felt i owed to the forum to say a few words when it wasnt busy as i dont wanna argue with anyone or create any bad feelings. yes i had been doping for 6 years but for most of u guys to think my opponents were not because of their physiques is quite ridiculous. i know for a fact that 3 guys i fought as a pro were on stuff although i will not mention any names and the majority of the boxers u all love so dear are on stuff, fact and this is from me talking to them, seeing them buy stuff or talking to their training personnel. Cheating is when u are the only prson doing something and since i know that i wasnt the only person doing it, it cant be defined as cheating. a large minority if not majority of boxers are doping and the naivity of the public to think that mine is an isolated case is staggering. Also i am so surprised that i get so much stick but the guys i look up to in the sport like roy jones, shane moseley and james toney who have all been caught dont get as much stick. Also lets not forget the holyfield incident with evan fields story, vargas and even mayweather using banned painkillers. if u hate me for doping fine, but then be prepared to hate all ur fav boxers and indeed athletes.
I appreciate the support I got from this forum and thats why i am coming on here and telling u this. Also i will not hide away as that is not my style and i will be back in boxing when the ban ends like it or not. Walk a mile in my shoes b4 u judge me."

"I wasn't suggesting I havn't done wrong I was just letting you guys know what my mindframe was at the time. accept I have done wrong but also want everyone to see the reality of all sports. I accept two wrongs don't make a right and if it felt Like my two posts were made to justify my actions then I apologise for that. I accept I have done wrong and will accept my punishment accordingly.
I wanted u guys to realise that its one rule for one and another rule for another with the roy jones, shane moseley and james toney situations. For instance James Toney has tested positive twice for steroids and if that was me I would have been banned for life now but somehow he is or was still boxing. So until this sort of thing is addressed, it will go on. Shane moseley has been known to use and doesn't get a ban. Same thing. Again I apologise to u guys for letting u down and thank you ofr the support."

Also Cutis Woodhouse posts there and he said he hasn't been tested in 6 years and that the board need to sort it out:

"The problem is this, I've had 21 fights and been a pro for 6 years and I've never been tested for anything, people will always cheat if they think they have a chance of getting away with it, and if your a pro boxer you have a very good chance getting away with it, I have the right as a fighter to know if the man I'm fighting is clean or not,the board need to get with it and start taking my and other clean fighters safety more serious because I feel like I'm being let down by people who are in charge"
and this, my friends, is the truth of boxing worldwide. not just in the us. so lol at the ppl who try to make it an american issue.

Had to bump this thread. Too many biased Brits on here going on like British fighters get tested year round and the BBBofC are a credible organisation.

The thread makes a mockery of all that. Khan tested year round doe! GTFOH with that ****!

are you now gonna act like year round testing is not better than 2 months testing?

My point is its not year round testing. One guy didnt get tested for 4 years. Another for 6 years. I dont even think Khans on anything. Just having to listen to these biased a$$holes talk about Khan is the most tested boxer because he's tested year round by the BBBofC is ridiculous.

2 months testing twice a year is much better than once in 6 years wouldnt you agree?

yea, there are alot of fighters and im sure alot get neglected, but a hotshot like khan would always be on their minds as one of their top boxers, so i'd imagine he'd get tested alot more often and not just forgotten among the immense number of individuals

To answer your question of course year round random testing would be better than 2months testing but at the end of the day the BBBofC are not doing it.

correct, very little drug testing in british boxing. what is done is primarily title fight boxers on big events. random testing program non-existant.
