Comments Thread For: Lewkowicz: Chavez-Martinez Will Outdo Pacquiao-Bradley

On Saturday night in El Paso, Texas, WBC middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. successfully defended his title with a highly-entertaining stoppage victory over brave Irishman Andy Lee. Chavez’s debilitating body attack proved to be too much for Lee, who saw the fight waved off by referee Laurence Cole in the seventh round as he was taking punishment along the ropes.

Assuming Sergio doesn't immediately drop down to Featherweight after seeing last night's fight-- JR vs. Sergio will be THE biggest fight of the 21st Century.

If he takes some of those diuretics he'll give making featherweight a good shot!

Last night Chavesito didn't impress anybody, Lee was at the same level as Jr & both put together are NOT even half the fighter Martinez is..Jr & his team have been Ducking Martinez for a long ass time & now Jr opened his big mouth, so lets see if he backs it up & really does face Martinez..Cause Roach did say that after this fight they were moving up to 168lbs..& Jr's size is not gonna be a problem for Martinez cause he fought Williams & Pavlik who are bigger than Jr & actually have a real record against real fighters & have earned their titles & they are proven fighters(not like Jr who had his road easily paved to get the title & has been given decisions against BUMS) & neither 1 of them(Williams nor Pavlik) ever intimidated Martinez & look at how they ended up against Martinez..

U'r right, Jr has been already suspended & fined(in Nevada) for taking an illegal substance & they like fighting in Texas cause that commission seems to be controlled by Top Rank & team Chavez Jr cause they let them do what ever they want!

                Wahhhhh somebody call a Wambulance.

If JCC JR wants to take a diurectic so he can cut weight, then he'll take a diurectic. Nobody cares.

Martinez is the next great guy but is hardly known to the audience, I doubt it too. JCC - Canelo is the bout to outdo Pac - Bradley, that's for sure (if there's a chance it can be made). But the Martinez fight is the one I am excited about.
