I hope this fights happens because we are going to see how easy Martinez will beat Chavez Jr up and KO him. Everybody Sergio Martinez fought was bigger than he was. So easily you guys get hyped off of a hype job like Chavez Jr. Good win for Jr but Andy Lee wasn't top tier. Martinez is a boxer and possess skills. Your boy is going to lose.

I agree with you most of the time, but come on. Chavez has improved dramatically and sergio is damn near 40. Father time always catches up to the fast fighters. Sergio should win but chavez is no hype job. The kid is tough

Martinez fights bigger guys but none as big as chavez and none of them fight big. If jr. can cut the ring martinez is in trouble. Those body blows will take it's toll on anyone. Thats a lost art that chavez seems to be mastering

You guys are hollering about how much bigger and stronger Chavez Jr is but not even considering that Sergio Martinez is a way better fighter than Andy Lee could ever dream to be. Sergio is a surgeon and he is going to chop Chavez Jr's ass down systematically. Sergio is KO'n big guys just like Chavez Jr. Sergio has 4 KO's in a row and Jr is going to be the 5th. Sergio is just going to run all day long once he realizes how effective a body puncher JCC Jr. is. He can dance all he wants but JCC jr. will end up pinning him to the ropes and murder him. If i had more points i would bet you.

in sergio's last 2 fights, he struggled againts both unitl the stoppages, one seemed fake btw and the other got buddy mcgirt'd. one is a decnet fighter and the other a bum. the chavez that we saw last night is 10 x better than them 2, kid is a beast now .

JR too slow for Martinez. He is starting to remind me of margarito. Always pressing. Good chin. But slow. Easy work for Martinez.

well margarito did demolish sergio...also i wouldn't consider chavez to be that slow. he was hrowing some pretty quick and heavy punches. but i see sergio beating chavez by UD..but definitely can see chavez's size playing a big factor in the fight.

I'm glad to see that Lee remains a true Irishman, that is, a good sport, willing to give credit to an opponent when due. Good sportsmanship is what Irish boxers are taught. Others could do the same but it would hurt their feelings to be honest and truthful....for a change

Hello JB, how are you doing. it was a good fight. What surprises me about Chavez is that he's not particularly fast, no flashy style, no very hard punch, and yet he has great heart and spirit, which carry him through. People are pretty nasty abouthim but never give credit for the fact that his whole boxing experience amateur and professional is 46 fights. He's still learning, and is not nearly as experienced as most others who have only 15-20 pro fights.

and pacquiao got KO'ed by two scrubs with body punches a long time ago. One has nothing to do with the other. Martinez is going to make him pay everytime chavez does his bull rush. Martinez is going to win.
