    The problem with American boxers

I just saw the Chambers and Jennings fight and it's pretty clear why they're so boring.

    They have no killer instinct.

On top of power, or speed or anything, there's one special thing you need to be a exciting knockout type fighter. You need to have killer instinct. You need to have to want to hurt the other guy, you have to enjoy hitting him as hard and as much as possible. This is why fighters like Kirkland, prime Pacquiao and Tyson etc were so exciting.

They didn't care about anything else except hurting you and taking your soul- because that's the reason they were fighting and they loved it.

American boxers these days aren't fighters, they're just athletes.

We are spoiled, fat, and lazy.

Our boxing history is built on tough immigrant's. Irish, ***ish, Italian. People that had to fight twice as hard to even get a close to fair a shake, with Black fighters. Mexicans. Puerto Ricans. Dominicans.

It's a different age. Boxing programs getting shut down. Fair one's getting ended not by fists, but by automatic weapons. At the same time, parent's pampering kids with anything they want, and wondering why they turn into douche bags.

      End of drunk rant.

These guys like Chambers etc all they want is a cashout against the Klitschkos, and Chambers knows he cant win.

He just wants to get there taking as few risks as possible, although Fighting Adamek was a sort of bold move, once in the ring he didnt want to take the chances, he seemed content to try and win on points

It's the same thing with all these dudes, it's why Chris Arreola is fighting bums, it's why Chisora vs Haye is seen as a big deal because its one of the only times two top 10 guys with bad intentions will get in the damn ring together.

Jennings won every round (some idiot on here had Collins winning I have no idea what he watched) but Jenning is very inexperinced. He had just 3 am fights 14 pro fights and started boxing in December 2009. I would say he has come on well but is way off a title shot. He needs another 3 years and 12-15 fights.

You know you got all these guys, Arreola, Solis, Mitchell, Adamek, Johnson, Chambers, Helenius, Boytsov, Chisora, Fury, Price, Haye, Povetkin, Pulev, Stiverne, Wach,

None of these ****ers fight each other, except for Chisora.

They are ALL content to feed on a diet of complete bums and no hopers until they get a totally undeserved title shot at the klits.

it's these ****s that are killing heavyweight boxing, not the klits!!!!!

its funny.. american fighters are the most diverse in the world when it comes to styles and abilities yet they are always getting bunched together.

the amjority of american fighters might be boxers but there are lots of brawlers and punchers out there too. boxers arent boring either, how can you call yourself a boxing fan and not like boxing?

Well I guess with Vitali retired there will be one less payday out there for these guys to chase.

Chisora is game, we can say that much for him.

Most "boxing" fans are actually "fight" fans, they want to see a tear-up not a chess match with gloves on.
