Canelo vs Ortiz is too much of a mismatch. Canelo is just too big and too strong for Victor.
Agreed, I dont get what the hype is with Ortiz hes a quitter IMO... Canelo schools him anyways..

Who has a better chance of upsetting the other? Chavez or Ortiz?
I still can't believe Alvarez and Ortiz will be fighting on Showtime. Both were built from the ground up on HBO.

LOL, they just cannibalized each others PPV numbers. Just another reason why the public thinks of boxing as a laughing stock.

LMAO.....guys....the point is that the Martinez-Chavez jr fight isn't going to happen that night...nor ever.

Why would they plan events like that in the first place? Secondly, it provides a perfect excuse to avoid the fight. Chumpez is moving up to 168 anyways...he'll fight some putz cabby at 168.

Think WWE.....that is the direction boxing is headed.

This is a good time for GBP to move their Sept date to October so Kirk can heal; especially if Ortiz looks like crap or loses his next fight.

Regarding Chavez Jr, I've always rooted for him in his fights. But this glove stuff and skipping tests is crazy. Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing who's the better fighter once and for all.

Seriously. No wonder HBO was talking about boycotting, they were just straight up talking about Showtime apparently. This is pure garbage and I won't be getting either fight now, this to me just solidified Manny/Pac is never going to happen, I'm seriously losing my love for boxing with all this who has the bigger d*ck BS. Can we just have Arum vs Schaefer winner takes all the fighters? Arum can do the steroids and all his smaller ring/gloves/no drug test BS he does for all his fighters even IDC just one of these companies needs to die.

I believe the pay-per-view will do a million buys and both fighters will make their biggest paydays.
Hell no. I hope that's exaggeration from Lewkowicsz, not delusion. He also said Mayweather-Martinez would do 2 million.

                  GBP better step off.

They don't call him the El Dinero de Vaca for nothing.

This is dumb. In an attempt to counter-program the GBP card they're hurting boxing.

Every single person who came to the arena came to see JR.

Every single person who tuned in to HBO tuned in to see JR.

If he doesn't want his glove weighed, he's not going to have his glove weighed.
