Jr hasa decent chace to beat Serhio, but IMO, doubt it happens 9/15...2soon...my only complaint is how WBC can qualify Lee as #3 & he never beat any1 in the top 20...he's a main-event small club guy, nothing more...

I'm 96% sure Lampley said BEFORE the fight that "Chavez need Extra time to warm up because he took his urine sample pre fight" or some thing close to that.

I gotta give it up to the kid. He was all over Lee and took his shots like they were nothing. I officially acknowledge him as a legit contender now.

On a side note, he was "unable" to provide a urine sample before the fight. This just further fuels the speculation that he's on something. The way he walked through Lee's shots is sketchy. I won't make accusations but the possibility is high.

Not sold he will actually fight Martinez but if he does he will havemy respect, if though he ducked for years. Martinez fathers the kid in the ring though!

LOL if what you say is true why has jr been pulling a usain bolt by running as fast as he can away from sergio? he has had ample opportunity to fight sergio and chose to fight far less dangerous fighters. and again another top rank fighter with leg cramps. plus this dude tipped the scales as a light heavy wt he probably came in at 185lbs. and there is no way he wasnt able to give a urine sample he was re-hydrating and drunk everything in sight. and common roach is no "bad ass trainor" he may be a mildly annoyed trainer but thats all. and sergio will beat jr like a drum and ko his behind. he beat lee but was just too big for lee eventhough lee was giving him a boxing lesson. his leg cramp excuse just sucks to me and a weak excuse for the was lee was schooling him.

boxingfan gotta disagree with you on the bolded part. pac used the leg cramp excuse plenty of times. and making excuses are not exclusive to one country or region. plenty of fighter have made excuses valid or not during defeat. and plenty of usa fighters have been classy in defeat and victory.

every time chavez wins the opponent says he was just to big. never that he was the better man which is not fair. almost every fight in any weight class the fighters are bigger when they enter the ring. most fights are over the weight limit. weigh in should be upon entering the ring in my opinion. sorry guys but as much as i don't like martinez. he wins against chavez in paul williams style ko. why? because chavez is there to eat punches. looks like yall were fooled again with this andy lee stuff who by the way can't fight a lick.

With Martinez last bout performance and age this will be interesting. JCC Jr cops alot of crap and mostly nit's justified, but he keeps winning.

Chavez did some good things last night. His defense was improved and he moved well. I think the stoppage was a little premature but he would have stopped Lee eventually the way it was going.
I personally think that Sergio is too crafty for Jr. at this point. Sure Chavez will have a weight advantage, but Sergio is great at creating angles and his style is very unorthodox and I am not sure that Jr. is ready for such a challenge. Hope this fight happens though, I just have a feeling that Arum will tell Sergio they want the fight at 168 or a catch-weight and that would be some BS.
