While Rosinsky isn't elite, this is a huge step up from Sigmon and will offer a good gauge of where Kelly is at. I'm glad Rosinsky is being rewarded for his effort against Rodriguez.

      Pavlik win

I just watched what little I could find on this guy on youtube and I THINK (not positive) that Pavlik will beat him pretty easily. I just don't think that it will prove anything. I was ready for a serious Pavlik step up. Althought I guess a 16-1 fighter is cetainly better than Jaco and Sigmon, and he might even be better than Lopez, I still get the sense that this is just Pavlik spending more time (deserved time) in the Arum doghouse. I am certain Pavlik would have rather waited until Sept, and fought ANY Name, but when Rio's wded, then Arum thought "Hmmmm, who owes me that wouldn't piss HBO off?" Kelly Pavlik, step forward please.

Wow, did you ever read way to much into what I said and you are way over thinking things. But maybe it is because I worded it wrong and I will try to explain it to you.

I read the name Rosinsky and it was unknown to me. First thing I thought was that the fights on HBO so Rosinsky must be well known. Possibly some Polish or Ukrainian fighter that I never heard of. Maybe one with a nice long amateur pedigree and maybe even an Olympic medal, because there are plenty of them out there that I know nothing about. Because I honestly pay little attention to amateur boxing. But instead, and this is how I should have worded it, he is an American club fighter with 16 fights and isn't even ranked in the top 50.

And it is not a matter of disrespect towards Rosinsky, I simply called it like I saw it. And if anything it is a bit of disrespect towards Pavlik, and I am a fan of his. And why? Because Pavlik is the one that just stated that he was done with tune ups and there are plenty of top 20 or top 15 fighters that I believe he could be fighting before he fights a guy who is a full time fireman.

And my problem with Pavlik is that I believe he will continue to take these tune up fights and then expect to get a shot at Froch without beating any other top fighters at 168. I also just watched what I could of Rosinsky and I wasn't impressed. So, if Pavlik somehow manages to lose to him he really should think about retiring.
