I know exactly what fight he is talking about, I saw every round live. I understand it was just his opinion but it just touched a nerve but its cool I have said a few things off the wall that were opinions also. I just hope as fans we get to see a great fight (war) and both fighters come out healthy

As easy as it is to weigh gloves, Roach is right : if they don't have to do it then they shouldn't do it. It's psychological warfare, the opponent's team is trying to get an edge by making you do something you don't wanna do. The texas commission is shady but I don't expect Chavez team to actually bring lighter gloves or gloves that have been tampered with, the repercussions for getting caught would be devastating to his career.

Getting caught using PEDs and getting caught with tampered gloves are apples and oranges. The former doesn't have the same kind of stigma that's attached to the latter. Margarito's reputation and legacy was permanently tainted while Mosley was still one of the most loved fighters even after he got popped. And diuretics aren't even PEDs, it's an entirely different situation than messing with gloves or handwraps. They wouldn't taint the Chavez name like that.

Yes I have. I take it you underestimate the situation at hand. This is not just another regular fight anyone has. This is Julio Cesar Chavez JR we are talking about. He has been popped for Diuretics he has been easily given a championship belt by Jose Sulaiman and he has been given favorable decisions by judges. This man has his way in Boxing and has connects in the Boxing world. He works with Freddie Roach, his biggest name is accused of using PEDs. He worked with James Toney when he got busted. He works with Bob Arum the slimiest promoter in Boxing who God knows how much disgusting things he has done in the world of Boxing. Something as simple as wearing 8 oz gloves to a 10 oz glove fight can be the edge these guys are looking for. They weren't asking for Chavez to step on the scales again or for extra testing. Trust me when they asked to see if they can weigh their gloves it wasn't to get a physcologial edge on their opponents and it shouldn't have been taken as one. This isn't amateur Boxing or some dinky undercard fight with two unknowns that little things can be overlooked.
