WBC silver super bantamweight champion Cristian Mijares (45-6-2, 21KOs) will return on June 30th, facing Eusebio Osejo (21-10-2, 7KOs) in Aguascalientes, Mexico. Mijares was hoping to fight WBO champion Nonito Donaire in July, but those plans took a hit when Donaire agreed to face IBF champion Jeffrey Mathebula in a unification bout on July 7th at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California.
