Whenever Floyd promotes his fights and says, "Paq you're next", that says everything. It means he perfectly understands that the ball sits squarely on his court. Why else would you say, "Paq you're next" if you're not holding the key to the fight? When he says, "Paq you're next", it means it doesn't have anything to do with Arum, or Paq... It doesn't even have anything to do with stringent testing. He knows he's holding up the fight. Come on guys, let's be real here.

Mayweahter is not a child. You don't negotiate by making take it or leave it stances. "I want $150 million. Take it or leave it." "I want this date and venue, take it or leave it." "I want this and that, take it or leave it." It just means you're really not interested in the fight. If you truly want the fight, you'll do anything to make it happen. Mayweather called Pacquiao to negotiate and Pac wouldn't budge. Arum has him set on 50/50.
The most logical thing to do would be what Shaefer said, crunch up the exact numbers of Pacquiao's and Mayweather's fights both gate and PPV and get a number from there. Bob Arum does not compute crunching up numbers.Comment
