why???? well at least one of my faves of all time will get some money for it. -
haha, manny horvitz!
your link leads to joe mantegna's profile page and not raging bull II's page (just saying).
i don't want to be too quick to write it off since we have no shots or trailers of it, but i'm def looking forward to it. i'm not going to expect it to be as good or better (highly unlikely) than de niro's 'raging bull' but hopefully it comes out well.
wow, this makes 3 films about boxing in the works: hands of stone, this film, and talks about mark wahlberg making another ward film were floating around.Last edited by chiguy91; 06-13-2012, 10:27 PM.Comment

Looking forward to seeing how it turns outComment

I made a thread about it last week...horrible actors and done without Martin Scorsese. In answer to your question why?
To try to make some money of the success and glory of the original...but without the talent and money. Will be a dog for sure.

The original wasn't just a good story, it was a culmination of perfection. No matter how good the new film is, it will always live in the shadow of the original. 2012 really has nothing to offer that we didn't get in the first. Just a terrible idea all around.Comment
