There is no class restriction in prison.
But isn't Mayweather's prison minimum security meaning there isn't any killers or rapists? What was Tyson's also?

It doesn't mean cuz it's minimum security Mayweather won't get his arse kicked. I think Tyson wasn't segregated and he was doing longer sentence. Not sure about the prison type for Tyson. My point is that Tyson can handle better than Mayweather.

Oh of course. Like I posted earlier Mayweather is looking like Snuggles with this plead for house arrest like 2 weeks into his sentence.

I am sure that Tyson could have handled it better than Mayweather would have. But still I'm just curious what type of a prison, what type of conditions, cellsmates Tyson really had then. With all this segragations by colors, wars between groups of inmates .... Did they all really risk of life or health of the most spectacular, best ever, most lucrative HW of all times probably?...

Mike Tyson Assigned To Indiana Youth Center
OTHER NEWS TO NOTE - MIDWEST
              April 16, 1992

INDIANAPOLIS — Former boxing champion Mike Tyson was assigned Wednesday to the Indiana Youth Center, corrections officials said. The youth center in Plainfield is adjacent to the Reception Diagnostic Center, where Tyson has been held since he was sentenced to six years in prison on March 26. He was convicted Feb. 10 of raping Desiree Washington, 19, a Miss Black America beauty pageant contestant. The youth center is a high- and medium-security facility with 1,419 inmates. If space becomes available later in a low- and medium-security setting, Tyson may be transferred. He will go through an orientation period for the next week.

I guess when you show off your 'crib' all over the media, he shouldn't be surprised not to be granted house arrest.

Oh well. Thought he might get it, but he didn't. You just got to deal with it Floyd.

The only thing that sucks is that he probably won't fight until May of next year now, which sucks. Oh well. I'm still holding out hope that he'll return and fight in December, maybe against the Ortiz-Alvarez winner.
