I used to call Canelo a hype job

But dude has grown on me, he has Vastly improved.

He's strong, fast, great foot work

    Boxing technique is very good.

    Aside from Floyd

I don't see anyone beating him from 147-160.

I think Martinez and Cotto would he great fights that I'm 50/50 on

Still ain't convinced he's a Mexican though...... lol

Fast? Great foot work? Who has he fought to warrant him having great foot work?

          Where the fast at?

Also the great boxing skill I just don't see it he's a good fighter but his lack of boxing skill will show up when some one can take his power with ease hes there to be hit to easy. I think you confusing great boxing with good combination punching

Martinez, Lara, Floyd, Cotto all destroy him. Dont overrate him just because he is a big draw

Not saying his resume is good or bad.

He is still showing me these things against the people he has faced.

He still has room for improvement but dude is 21.
Just because your comp might be weak doesn't mean you don't possess the skills to beat an elite boxer if given the chance we see it all the time. He is that boxer

                I forgot about Lara

Also I gave P Will the best shot to beat him until tragedy struck.

Canelo doesn't have fast hands or good foot work ???

Oh well mark this thread so we can come back to it some day.

First on the list Ortiz - W by KO in the 8-9th round

I thought he was hype too but having watched him for a while now ,he really is progressing from a technical standpoint. Before the Mosley fight, I said that if he can correct his defense, I'll admit he's legit. And he did just that.
