Budfr you don't know what is about living in regimen like the one we lived in Cuba. He stood for what he loved. I'm ok with that. You
see Floyd Mayweather in jail today. That's nothing compare for what Teofilo did in Cuba. He was an alcoholic and because that he killed one person in a car accident. He also being member of the National Team he ****d a reporter and the Cuban government supported him. In Cuba just for two drinks and a lunch
Teofilo will give a free interview. I don't agree what you say about Rigondeaux. This kid wanted to be free and didn't wanna be a slave for the rest of his life.Comment

Exactly how many twelve-round fights did Stevenson win in his career? Greatest amateur, perhaps, but pro boxing is another game entirely.Comment

Could have had the affection of millions more if he would have tested himself against the world's best pros. Of course his legacy as a "would-be great" is secure by having remained in the amateur ranks. Had Jorge Luis Gonzalez done the same, people would probably be proclaiming him an all-time great as well.Comment

Budfr. You are so ignorant. Read this article.
With the great amateur and Olympic boxing background that comes out of Cuba, we are beginning to see more and more great fighters coming out of the tiny island in the Caribbean; Fighters that are not only risking it all in life, but are willing to risk it all in the ring. The boxing world may never see a fighter like Teófilo Stevenson again, but these Cuban fighters, young and old, do their best to make their mark on boxing history in their own special way.Comment

How anyone can criticize a man wanting to live his life on his own terms is beyond my ability to understand.
