Lopez will lay down for Ortiz like Likar Ramos did for JMM before the Pacquiao fight lol

no way Golden Boy can afford for another setback to happen

but this is a good chance for Golden Boy Promotions to take advantage of Bob Arum's and Top Rank pissing fans off

I guess this will be the first time I buy two PPV's on the same day.

            I'm pretty sure that's over $120 bucks.

If it was Kirkland, Williams, or Trout that was facing Canelo, Top Rank would have been able to hold its ground because Chavez vs Martinez would have been a more marketable PPV than those by a large margin. Canelo vs Ortiz might force Top Rank to move to October though. I just don't see Arum risking a loss for his cashcow in his biggest fight unless he makes the most money out of it. He's going to have to move the date, otherwise it won't be worth it.

TR's biggest mistake was lollygagging with the Chavez vs Martinez fight saying that it might happen or that it might not. The Chavez vs Lee winner fighting Martinez should have been part of the fight's promotion from the getgo. But Golden Boy beat TR to the punch by officially announcing their Canelo fight first.

I was down to by the Canelo-Ortiz fight, but JCC-Martinez is one I have wanted to see for quite some time. IF Sergio fights Jr. that is the one I am getting. I may just get both and DVR one of them.

And if they are competing, it probably means they are going to stack the under cards. Win/win for the fans. At least the ones with money!!!
