GB has done this a few times I think, last i remember they scheduled the mares-agbeko fight on the same day as cotto-margarito II, which was announced first (someone's bound to ask for a link: http://******.craveonline.com/blog/1...-boy-showtime-) But, this being Mexican Independence weekend, I can't really say Canelo shouldn't fight that day...it'd be nice if they moved it a week, just for the fans...but perhaps his pride won't allow it.

golden boy always puts fights on mexican independance day... canelo is mexican and the biggest star of mexico right now, everyone knew he was going to fight that day....

personally, could care less what top rank does, i wouldnt buy any of their cards anyways... especially after that crap they pulled this last saturday
