Great fight. I won't buy because I don't support the PPV model which is killing boxing, but be sure that I will watch.

I'm not a big fan of PPV either, but if it's really "killing" boxing then why do they still use it?

Yep, and I really like Tarver and Gus Johnson as well. Just a very good crew who actually call the fight and keep their obvious biases out of it as much as possible. In a Showtime fight they at least do their best to treat both fighters equally.

I'll agree with the exception of Gus Johnson... dude is a moron and doesn't know what the **** he's talking about .. he's more concerned with getting hyped up and screaming oppose to actually commentating

**In the Tarver-Kayode bout someone quoted Gus as saying "Tarver has to make it a fist fight"

given the nature of the sport he's commentating, an absolute idiotic thing to say

and of course in Ward-Kessler, after the fight was stopped because of the bad cut .. Gus was screaming about Ward winning via TKO

but yeah I agree with how Showtime commentates fights, for the most part they are very objective and do their best to keep out personal bias.

Showtime needs to get rid of Gus because the other guys on their actually know what they're talking about

Boxing is all a huge business now. We all know that the popular guy is going to win. In this case it will be Canelo. Why? Its simple, he puts fans in the seats and Victor can't. If Ortiz wins it will ruin business for GBP. The better fight will be Johnny Gonzalez, and that fight will be real, not a per-arranged deal. But all credit to GBP for putting on much better fights than idiot Bob.
