its nothing naive about it. if u think being locked down 23hrs a day for 2 months with little room to move and work out and etc doesnt have ill effects on the human body, then seriously ur the one being naive. i mean ****, it should go without saying.Comment

I saw this coming a mile away. He's getting humbled really quickly. Guys with major egos cannot handle being alone for a long period of time. Isolation is terrible because you're at your minds mercy. Your mind is going to **** you up the ass and you can't do a thing about it. There's a reason why he wants to be apart of the general population. It's for his own sanity.
I don't feel sympathy for him because he's the one who dug this deep hole, but I definitely see his career changing for the worse if he stays in there all 3 months.
In this case I wouldn't mind the house arrest.Comment

He could do workouts in his room 23 hours a day and then has an hour a day to work out if he wants
Guys like hatton and trinidad woud binge on food and gain 40 pounds in a month and do ***** for months at a time for an entire career and still compete but Floyd serves 2 months in jail and his career is over?
Either way he made a mistake and now has to pay for it, one of his fav quotesComment

I know it goes against conventional thinking/reason but I got a strange feeling that if they did send him into general popluation he wouldnt be in that much danger truthfully. Im sure he knows someone inside that would make sure itd be ok for him to be there.Comment

most of the people screaming in that were ******ed 19 or so year old kids trying to look hard for the cameras. Do you really think they would put Floyd in with those dumbass felony charge gang****er guys? They'd put him in the tiers/dorms where the minor offenders and work release people are kept. He really should be in with them anyway, he basically got sentenced to months in the hole...that sucks more than normal jail by a lot.Comment

u are totally missing the point. and i dont think u understand the human body at all. u can say he can do all the workouts in the world, but the guy is a worldclass athlete. theres nothing he can do in prison locked down for 23 hours that would allow him to remain that way after 3 months at the age of 35. nothing. he will experience a great deal of atrophy not only physically but mentally. like i said, his career is pretty much over in my estimation. He could do workouts in his room 23 hours a day and then has an hour a day to work out if he wants
