Higher boxing IQ / boxing skill....Mayweather ,Ward, Rigondeaux

All three are highly decorated pro's with stellar amateur credentials. Who out of the 3 do you view as the best boxer along with possessing the highest ring IQ? If there is anyone you think is smarter post them

Mayweather has reached the highest possible peak a boxer can get. He obviously has the highest ring IQ. Than Ward, than Rigo who probably could have won a belt after his first fight.

Just out of curiosity, why do you put him ahead?

they are al comparable imo, mayweather is probably highest along with hopkins. but ward is so impressive because he is so young.

Mayweather, definitely. He's shown the ability to adapt time & time again regardless of opponent, size or style.

I think Ward is just a remarkable athlete as well as a very polished & schooled technician, he knows what he needs to do & is disciplined enough to execute.and its impressive cuz hes still very young

In Rigo's case, his ring IQ & poise just simply comes from vast experience. He knows what works and what doesn't. His IQ is one that u need to develop, not necessarily one that ur naturally gifted with.

IMO. Mayweather is probably the best boxer I've ever seen put on gloves.

Ward is dedicated and learns well

              Rigondeaux I really dont know

Mayweather has proven himself. Ward is proving himself with each fight and I honestly see him being masterful by the time he gets to the end of his career like May has. Rigondeaux hasn't proven much yet, so I can't put him in the same class as the other two.

I'd say mayweather then rigo then ward. Although rigo hasnt fought even close to the comp of the other two he has so much experience so I put him ahead

Before the Cotto fight I definitely would've said Mayweather because he was always very safe, and smart in the ring. I felt like during that fight he took a lot of risks that weren't neccesary. Made for an entertaining fight though. Ward who I like isn't the most exciting guy to watch. He fights to win one way or the other. Although it never seemed to me Mayweather was in danger of losing the Cotto fight despite some opinions he fought more of a brawling style. I can't see Ward doing that anytime soon so I say Ward #1, Mayweather #2.
