    Calling you out, John Scully..

Scully, how would Muhammad Ali have beaten Joe Louis? Give me your answer, then I'll tell you why it's wrong.

Ken Norton beat Ali 3 times. I dont care what the judges said, his crab defence and akward style caused Ali all kinds of problems. That goes without saying the relentless pressure he levied on Ali with his come forward style and superior punching power.

On of the greatest displays of pure boxing was Norton vs Ali in their 3 fights. I feel Norton won all 3 or at least deserved a draw in the second fight. He was beautifull with his crab defence the way he outjabbed the moving, jabing master. Not to mention that vicious right hand that broke Ali's Jaw in the first fight. Still, it was one Ali's shining moments to go the distance with Norton in the first fight, in spite of suffering a broken a jaw from a vicious right hand in Round 2. He did however get his ass kicked really bad in that fight, from the kidneys to the jaw.

Louis had problems with fast guys who worked around the jab. Ali has a great chin. Ali through most of his career weighed in about 10lbs heavier. Ali's reach advantage.

However, seeing as how this fight never took place and never could have. This is completely a debate based around opinions where nobody can be clearly wrong in a case like this. There are always upsets, and always intangables. Nobody knows for sure... nobody.

Put this **** in the Thunderdome or The History forum or something. Stop clogging up NSB with stuff outside it's remit.

You're such an obnxious **** the way you talk to John, you really are.

            Here's your story: http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=55322

              imo, they split
ali one, norton one and one was a draw, but thats besides the points
ali was a hard stinging puncher with a good chin and great speed. louis was never known to have a great chin and ali would punish him the entire fight, by using his size and speed
