Clip: Edwin Valero's 16th consecutive 1st Round KO

Seen here stopping Japan's Hero Bando in the 1st round. (Sorry for the choppy quality, the replay I capped already had the speed manipulated so it was tough to make this gif)

For those of you who aren't familair with Valero, he's now 17-0 all 17 victories via 1st round KO.

He is a 24 year old 5'7 Lightweight from Venezuela. All of his fights have been outside of the USA, where he is on medical suspension forbidden to fight on American soil. This stems from a Motorcycle accident he had as a teen, where he suffered brain damage.

Here's his record, which granted is filled with very sub par opposition:

He gets tagged a few times during the course of the (short)fight, but i was still impressed,he throws from great angles and he seems so damn relaxed in there,he makes it looks easy.

He's pretty sloppy and wild. My intention wasn't to say he's going to be a champion, just to show the clip for those that haven't seen him.

Either way, with that fire power I definatly want to see more of him.

he looks like a great talent, but i cant help but notice how open he is in that clip, just asking to get rocked. however, it may be that hes going in for the kill or that he knows this guy cant hurt him
def want to see more of this guy

It's very tough to judge him off one clip and one fight, but the guy definatly has some freakish power. Some of the shots, although wild, have a clubbing Mayorga kind of quality to them.

It must have been after those fights that the scans came to light, becasue he is definatly on medical suspension, and barred from fighting there now. And the accident was before he turned pro.
