I ruled over the British 140lb division for exactly 15 months.

My reign saw me beat two of the division’s best fighters in the last ten years. Lenny Daws and Jason Cook have been British, European and World IBO champion between each other.

WBC world champion Danny Garcia who many thought I beat back in February of 2010 is due to fight Amir Khan in July.

what an excuse because you was a british champion you turned down possible world title opportunites and fringe world title opportunties just to defend your lowly british belt

what a pathetic excuse, you ducked a novice who won prizefighter and you lost to a no body

you will never ever be a world champion so dont be so deluded

the only thing i can say which is positive is your piece on training in the mayweather gym in boxing monthly was a one of the best diary pieces in ages....

Ashley, I'm a former Fitzroy Roy Lodge boy and I've had the pleasure of watching you fight live and also share the homeland of St Lucia with you. I have also visited the amateur gym you honed your craft in and know of the environements from which boys round there come from. People believe in you, and I go out hand on heart to say if you read this people are rooting for you, and yes I honestly do believe you can still be World Champ, but the time is now, Carpe Diem, re-group, recuperate and then give it your all, you know the roads too....no slipping bro. Peace. Darren.

I've only seen Ashley a couple of times, he won ugly in one fight and he got a gift against Rodriguez in the other. His safety first style has finally cost him, it could have happened sooner, and he needs to be more aggressive. Easier said than done, I know.
