my view on jones havent changed at all after this fight, if anything i think higher of him now that i know what hes made off.

it was impressive how he battled to get back to his feet after a heavy KD and how he responded to a loss that was difficult to cope with in every way (first loss, heavy KO, losing a fight he shoudlve won, losing the biggest fight of his career etc). ofcourse he shouldnt have been in that position to begin with but its all a learning experience.

i knew if bailey hit him with a perfect punch he would knock him out, that uppercut wouldve knocked out any WW in the world. jones often loses focus especially late and this time it cost him the fight, he will learn from it though and become a better fighter.

the talent is still there and we know hes got a big heart too, mike jones will be a force in the future. he wouldnt be the first prospect to get knocked out early in his career, come back better and one day become a great fighter.

I was never too interested in him, but he fought scared and gave Bailey all the time he needed to find his miracle punch. The few times he got off his bike and sat down on his punches he was hurting Bailey. I think Jones could have put Bailey away in the mid-rounds, but he gave the man too much respect and got sonned. That's a good lesson to fighters that want to stink up the joint and eek out the W.

I never heard a lot of hype behind the guy, but I do remember a lot of people saying they thought he would destroy Andre Berto.

Jones is still a good fighter, maybe he'll get it right in the rematch.

I expected more from Jones but I think its obvious what the issue is. The guy is WAY too big to be making ww...put him at 154 and he'll be like a different fighter, he is a giant to be making 147.

after 2 rounds mike took over the fight entirely and didnt lose another round til he got dropped in the 10th. how can you say he wasnt dominating the fight when you only saw 3 or 4 rounds out of 11?

he was dominating, just lost focus and got laid out.. thats boxing. champions learn and come back better, jones has the heart of a champion.

Brook would always have beaten him I'm just pissed it was Bailey who done that and not brook. But I was happy for Bailey especially when he was crying his eyes out.

Dominating? There was nothing dominant in that fight until Bailey exploded one on Jones chin

                Yea it was dominating

THe disparity of what Jones did compared to bailey makes it domination

the first two rounds were close, then jones took complete control of the fight and won round 3-9 clearly. bailey barely landed a punch, jones wasnt doing alot himself but he did enough to put rounds comfortably in the bank.

i only had bailey winning one round til he dropped mike in the 10th, thats dominating. again not dominating rounds and winning in style but doing enough to pile up the rounds and win a wide decision had he not been caught.
