well you are really keen on voting for hatton but the question is, was he thebest for the year? i think not... you say hatton beat tszyu, and you point jermain beating a 40 year old champ... reality check, kostya is old too... and is washed up... so my vote goes to lacy... lol... he was the most impressive in that list

as for jermain, he did not show class... he did not fight like a champion... he fought to protect the belts... sucks...

its really hard to make a clear decision. i would have to say hatton. taylor just didnt beat hop in the first fight and he didnt impress in the second. i would think that 05 was a setup year for toney to be fighter of the year in 06 now that he is in line to start winning titles at heavyweight.
