Just depends on what comparables you look at--

Floyd v. Marquez got $6.8 million at the live gate.
Pacquiao v. Marquez III did $11.6 million

Surprisingly, Floyd's fight against Cotto barely did more than Pacquiao v. Marquez III--$12 million--and Cotto is a real draw in his own right (Marquez is not).

So, yes, Floyd's tickets are slightly more expensive but he also rarely sells out. For some of his recent fights, there have been more than 3,000 unsold tickets (excluding comps).

I don't know why this thread is turning into some kind of DENIAL by anti-Pacs. Pac carry with him a stronghold of Filipino, Fil-Am, and diverse boxing fans to support the fight. One doesn't have to be a Pac fan or a boxing fan to really see his effect.

Simply put, Pac (and Mayweather) are the toast of the town, what's so puzzling about that?
