I think after the brothers retire that's all we're going to have...

Yeah, it's not inconceivable that an American could pick up a strap once both Klits retire. None of the current contenders or up and comers have shown themselves to be head and shoulders above the rest, and even a fighter like Price, who thus far looks to be the heir apparent, could still be upset at some point in the near future. It happened to Wlad after all.

Yes, there are more pro boxers and more boxing gyms in the USA than anywhere else.

There are 417 active American pro HWs, and only 13 Ukrainian HWs. Yet the HW champs are Ukrainian.

            No, it's not.

If Wladimir Klitschko fights Tye Fields, will Fields win because he's taller than Wlad?

            Of course not.

If Julius Long fights Vitali will he win because he's bigger than Vitali?

            Of course not!

Why has the skill level at the HW divison decreased so much since the Bowe-Lewis-Moorer-Holyfield era came to an end???????

Exactly, American have a much bigger pool, but they can't produce the goods anymore.

America best fighters from the past have been from the lower classes, they had that hunger to makes something of themselves.
Now American cultures is all about fame and money and their govt. squeeze their underclass more and more.

American sport is falling across the board.

We can't ignore the rise of pro boxing in other countries it is a much more competitive world now and America are struggling to compete even though they have the most boxers.

                  Bowe
                  Moorer weren't that good.
                  Holyfied, PEDs and headbutt
                  Lewis, Yeah he was good.

I bet Americans think the standard of tennis has dropped too, because they have none of the best tennis players no more too.

I love how all these Brit's are experts on America, it's a good laugh.

Anyways, America still hands down produces the best boxers for the most part. American sports aren't falling across the board, morons. American still runs Basketball, never was any good or cared about soccer in the first place, and still beat everyone at the Olympics year after year. We have the NFL, other countries have their rugby. America still produces great Baseball players as well.

Why are there so many people bias against America on here??? We have our problems just like any other country, we also have a lot of great things too. And one thing I know for sure, a lot of other countries envy America, hence why everybody and their brother wants to come here.

                      It hasn't.

You should watch the European HWs more. Wlad, Vitali, Glazkov, Haye, Dinu, Pulev, etc have excellent boxing skills. The universe does not end at the US borders - don't restrict yourself this way.

Better get used to it, the world has been changing. If you look at the results of the last few world amateurs and 2008 Olympics, there are more excellent fighters from other countries like Kazakhstan and Ukraine and fewer from the USA.
