Bad decision from Jones IMO, Bailey doesn't have a good chin but Jones doesn't have a lot of power so the smaller gloves won't benefit him.

jones is a warrior. the biggest puncher in the sport wanted the smallest possible gloves and he said no problem, didnt want no excuses. dominated, got laid out and made no excuses himself. jones has character.

even afterwards he said no regrets, dont want no advantages even if it means coming up short. future champ regardless of what happened last night.

It's one thing to be a warrior, it's another to be out right dumb. Why would you willingly give your opponent an advantage? Had Jones put more punches together and tried to do damage himself then I would understand but he fought extra defensive so it doesn't make sense.

Only ignorant fans would call him a pussy. He's fighting a big puncher and he's a boxer so he's supposed to go for the bigger gloves. If he was a pussy he wouldn't fight Bailey to begin with.

Old school fighter tried to get advantages too whenever they could. Which didn't happen often because there weren't as many rules and regulations back then.
