Zero tolerance for cheating in life. Good bye Cheato and don't let the door hit you in the azz on the way out!

Glad to see him go, he's a cheating scumbag whose entire career will forever be questioned, and rightly so. He's never put his hands up, admitted what he did and apologised either, which just makes him even more di****able.

Watching Manny beat the crap out of him was only surpassed by watching Cotto do the same in their rematch.

Wow, so much hate on these boards. You people realize every time he was wrapped there was a member of the opponents camp watching and there was never a problem before or after the Mosley thing. It was never even proven that he was aware of what happened yet everyone is quick to assume he's a cheater. It happened once and it was stopped before the fight, so at worst you can accuse him of attempted cheating. The guy was a warrior, as Warren said not the most talented, but a tough mofo. There's no reason to hate so much.

Sorry but that sounds incredibly naive to me. You can't really be suggesting that a) Margarito was totally in the dark about somebody using plaster of paris on his hands and b) his trainer decided to do it for the first time in Margarito's career before fighting a severely declining Shane Mosley. Come on, have a word with yourself.

You just have to look at the difference between Cotto's face after their first fight, and after the rematch.

I think it's naive to assume all of his opponent's manager's that saw him getting wrapped throughout his career missed the plaster other than Naazim.

If you have direct quotes from people who saw Marg's hands wrapped for previous fights, who say there was nothing untoward and that it was a fair fight, I'd like to hear them. I'm not being argumentative by the way, I'm genuinely interested.

Personally though, I think it's all too convenient to say it was an isolated incident and that Margarito was blissfully unaware. And if he was, where was the rage? Where was the disgust from Margarito that somebody close to him had done this to his career, and acted so dangerously on his behalf? Answer - there was none, just a shrug of the shoulders and "We haven't spoken since". Sorry but it's all bollocks.

I thought Manny Steward said that Margarito's wraps were fine for the Cintron fight? Sorry I don't have a link.

Where do you expect me to find such quotes? You're well aware that the only time a manager would make a comment is when something is wrong e.g. Naazim. Do you seriously think there were managers in the past who saw something "untoward" and decided to keep it to themselves? Why don't you find me direct quotes from people who saw Marg's hands wrapped for previous fights, who say there was something untoward and that it was not a fair fight, I'd like to hear them. I'm not being argumentative by the way, I'm genuinely interested. See how that works?
