Not at all. Pac did however.

Just like Cotto. So-So and not great.
The sad thing here is that you feel you made a point by bringing in a fighter that we were not even discussing...lmao

But since you brought him into the conversation, I doubt if any ethnic group will say Margarito and Cotto were equal, similar, or the same in anything.

Both ain't great. Most of history remembers the great boxers a lot more. A category in which Margarito nor Cotto are part of.

      • Can't say I like the guy but he made the right move. Most of these guys keep fighting for whatever reason when they know they should be retired and risk getting hurt.

            • Margarito's greatest win was when he brought Cotto to his knees.

                Hopkin's will probably fight til he's 50.

Iv'e been a big Hopkins fan in the past, but find myself disliking him more and more over the years as he keeps fighting and whingeing about being robbed. Unfortunately no one has been able to thouroughly destroy him to force him into retirement.

As for Roy, it's sad to see a guy who isn't even 1/10th of his former self.

                • Look. He tried to cheat got caught and paid the price for it.

Now that' that's out of the way, Margarito was one tough SOB, tremendous heart and always made for exciting fights. That's what I'll remember him for.

                    • A very tough guy, shame his reputation will always be tarnished. Should have retired one fight earlier.
