Mayweather & Arum are polar opposite promoters with opposite motives when it comes to reporting earnings.

Mayweather's motive: To make himself look phat gangsta rich.

Owners of companies/corporations can set their own annual salary at ANY amount. $50 million, 50 cents or anything in between. It doesn't matter, because they own the company, so their earnings/salary comes from the company's PROFITS.

Mayweather is his own boss. So he basically writes himself a check of $32 million. What is the exact percentage of PPV profit share he is receiving?? Notice he did NOT specify that to the media. A guarantee is real when it is specific (eg. minimum guarantee of $32 million, PLUS 60% of PPV profit share). I can't find an article that reports this. The reason is....that $32 mil is really an estimate based on the percentage he is receiving from the PPV profits. He could make more or less than 32 mil. That's the risk he takes by being "his own boss".

6 Million is nothing to sneeze at but Manny Pacquiao should be making way more than Timothy Bradley. Instead he is getting 1Mil less? Pacquiao is way more popular and established than Timothy Bradley. Miguel Cotto was guaranteed 8MIL for his fight with Mayweather. There's no way Pac should be making less than Cotto on any level. Manny is supposed to be in the double digits without PPV back end BS. Floyd made 8MIL against Baldomir years ago. I would love to have 6MIL like many of you guys posting on here but the reality check is. Bob Arum ain't paying Manny what he is supposed to be getting paid at this stage of his career. Pacquiao damn sure ain't making the same money Mayweather is making each fight. Even with PPV back end Arum is speaking on comes out to 26MIL. Hell! Manny should have taken the flat fee of 40MIL to fight Mayweather if he ain't making that much upfront and after PPV on his own. I can understand why Floyd don't want to give him more because he ain't making that much. Why Manny won't leave Bob Arum is beyond me.

You have very imaginative arithmetic. Since when is $5 mill more than $6 mill. And you know very well that the total amount is what counts not the "declared" guarantee (or minimum). You've been told this over and over. You see the whole mechanism of payments detailed time and again. When are you going to accept it?

And Mayweather's $40 mill "offer" might be as real as his $32 mill "guarantee"............

Why didn't Mayweather accept the $50 mill that was offered?? It was at least as real as his $40 mill, and likely much more so with a solvent Promoter making the offer. Surprised at you.
