Mayweather used brass knuckles in his fight against Big T, not a diamond ring.

This is exactly what I've been saying:
Manny Pacquiao only makes news for having awards GIVEN to him. He never beats anyone worth mentioning to make his milestones.
He heavily relies on writers to make him look good, instead of looking good against the #1, 2 & 3 ranked fighters in the WW division.
Manny could be given every single award available in boxing, but it won't make him a better boxer than he really was. It just makes him decorated, not accomplished.
Those who are the best at what they do don't need adornments. They receive them, but their value is not predicated upon them like Pacquiao's own value obviously is.
You sound mad BRO. That is alot of hate you have built. You and the can keep crying, makes reading and laughing at you all more fun at work.Comment

The #1, 2 & 3 in every division from SFW to jrMW with Tszyu being the only exception.
That's how boxing is measured .... sir. You fight the best ranked top 3.
And you do it without having to ask for special conditions so that you can stand a chance.
I swear Manny Pacquiao's last 2 belts should have the blue placards with white wheelchairs hanging on them.
Its utterly embarrassing.
And Arum sets up these ridiculous "writer award" ceremonies to make it seem like Pacquiao is still doing things worthy of recognition.
The man's standings have gone down, not up.
No "good job" sticker is going to fool fans into thinking that Pacquiao has done anything worthwhile since 2007.
Had Pacquiao fought all of his competition from DLH to Mosley without playing games like catchweights and targeting them coming off losses, his wins would have meant tremendously more. His entire WW and jrMW campaigns were shams ... sir.
His last three fights had Manny demoted on P4P lists.
So extending some trinket ring as an acknowledgment that Pacquiao has been demoted is amusing to many.
Hilarious actually.Comment

Hahahah .. why would I sound mad?
Even if Manny Pacquiao did have a legitimate legacy, he's only one man. One Asian. One Filipino. Regardless of what his promoter and writers say about him, he's one man in 100 years of the sport.
You do realize that boxing has been dominated by Americans for over 100 years, don't you?
Whites, Blacks, Latinos. They ARE boxing. So why would I be mad if one single solitary Asian used catchweights to make himself seem like he is on the true best fighter's level, but won't fight him?
As it is, in 2 years, no one will be speaking of Manny Pacquiao anymore. The "buzz" only still exists because of the anticipation of a Mayweather fight.
Think I'm wrong?
Ask any non-filipino fan during the last 4 years "What is the fight that they wanted to see". You know the answer.
That's the difference between $14 million and $85 million in the last 2 fights.
Still neither of us are going to see a penny of that money. So why would I be mad?Comment
